Your responsabilities


Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

Develop and implement the Regional sourcing strategy, aligned with the Global sourcing strategy, for high-value electrical and controls equipment and instrumentation.

Contribute Regional perspective, as well as Global ideas, to the development of the Global Category Strategy for ES Projects, Products, Services and CMS Monitoring Solutions Validate the strategy as it applies to the Region, and develop reasonable estimates of the potential impact of the strategy in the region Drive Regional achievement of the Category goals, track and report progress toward the goals in Projects, Products, Services and Monitoring Solutions Drive Regional operations toward 100% compliance with the Regional Category strategy, by influencing Regional Sourcing team and (where applicable) the Supply Chain team, Technical team and Commercial team

Coordinate Regional negotiations with key category suppliers to ensure they meet Regional business needs and align with Global relationship. Coordinate negotiation priorities with the Global category manager

Support Regional fulfillment team, other Regional Category managers, Product Sourcing leaders and Supply Chain to address issues with key category suppliers Drive Regional category suppliers to improve Quality, Delivery and Cost

Project ITO Support

Support Project Estimators and Global Category Manager in proposals Drive focus/standardization in supplier selection, product selection and sourcing methodology Identify and promote preferred suppliers, coordinating their early involvement in project opportunities, where appropriate

Project OTR

Support Sourcing Project Leader in the successful execution of projects

Your profile


Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Production Control, Electrical or Controls Engineering, Product management or Project management 2 Years Sourcing/Supplier management related experience Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Desired Characteristics

Engineering Degree and MBA Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills Strategic thinker/planner Strong quantitative and analytical skills Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily Knowledge of the SWTS business operations and systems Negotiations expertise Knowledge of Electrical or controls equipment (industrial controls, power distribution, instrumentation)
