Objective of the role

We are on the look-out for an experienced Channel Marketing Manager to look after our field marketing activities for our top partners in EMEA & APJ. In this role, responsibilities may include to build and execute on partner marketing programs such as campaign in a box initiatives and digital events, to drive demand generation with and through our partners. This role will work closely to our Global Partner Marketing team, Field Marketing team and Partner Sales teams with the purpose to drive efficient and innovative marketing programs that will help meet our pipeline goals.

The ideal candidate demonstrates digital marketing affinity, thorough knowledge of the partner landscape in a B2B environment and strong communication and project management skills to drive and oversee demand generation activities to and through SUSE’s partner ecosystem.

This role reports directly into the sr. Director Marketing EMEA & APJ.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with various stakeholders to drive world-class demand generation programs through partner enablement to determine programmatic market-, region- and partner-specific strategies, including support/participation in local shows and (digital) events Develop and execute our EMEA channel marketing strategy (both to and through) to deliver relevant, local marketing initiatives in tight collaboration with the Partner Managers and Field Marketing Brief and communicate regularly on new and upcoming partner campaigns to ensure high engagement and build close relationships with all stakeholders (internally and externally) Manage the follow-up, nurturing and campaign flow of marketing qualified leads to partner sales Measure and analyze marketing program success and report on program metrics regularly Maintain industry and organizational knowledge of products and services; identify and disseminate market trends to SUSE in support of demand generation

This is you:

7+ years of channel marketing experience in a B2B environment Deep expertise in a wide variety of demand generation tactics – particularly co-marketing, digital demand generation and social Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage multiple projects Strong communication and project management skills Fluent in English (verbally and written), other languages are a plus Experience with sales & marketing automation systems (preferably Marketo and/or SFDC) Proven ability to excel and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is extremely important Positive can-do mentality with strong influencing and diplomacy skills – to get buy-in across a variety of stakeholders Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
