Are you an experienced marketing professional with a passion for driving growth and innovation?  We have a fantastic opportunity for a Global Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team.  As part of Symrise Pet Food's strategic focus on Palatability, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product portfolio, leading the innovation process, and driving market share in the exciting Pet Food sector.

Your role

Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Portfolio Management: Structure and optimize our product portfolio for an efficient go-to-market process. Build and manage our marketing policies to enhance brand positioning.

Innovation Leadership: Collaborate with the R&D team to launch new value-generating solutions that exceed customer expectations. Drive continuous innovation to keep our company at the forefront of the industry.

Market Intelligence and Customer Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of the "Palatability" and "Pet Food" markets through market intelligence and customer needs analysis. Utilize this knowledge to improve competitor analysis and enhance our information collection.

Regional Sales and Market Growth: Propose action plans to regional teams to increase sales and market share. Develop strategies and tools to boost business growth and customer loyalty.

Marketing Plan Development: Create annual marketing plans at global and regional levels, incorporating input from different regions and ensuring effective implementation of action plans.

Project Management: Actively participate in marketing-related company projects. Initiate and lead projects to drive marketing excellence and ensure effective coordination of cross-functional teams.

Business Development: Collaborate with global and regional sales teams to develop sales strategies and maximize economic contribution. Provide training on product utilization and promotion to sales teams.

Team Management: Coordinate with regional marketing services to address local needs and support the implementation of action plans. Provide functional oversight to global product managers and competitive intelligence managers.

About you

Proven track record with several years' experience in marketing functions.
Bachelor's degree or MBA, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in B2B within the Pet Food sector.
Fluent in both English and French.
Expertise in mastering marketing techniques and tools.
Deep understanding of the company's products, production techniques, and their constraints.
Skilled in effectively bringing together various internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical and synthesis abilities to gather and interpret a wide range of information, ensuring comprehensive marketing intelligence and organizing valuable field feedback.
Demonstrates creativity and takes initiative in problem-solving.
Proficient in conducting market surveys to gather insights.
Experienced in leading hierarchical or functional management teams.
Capable of assessing opportunities and risks in a customer-oriented manner.
Strong listening skills, curious nature, and aptitude for collecting and sharing relevant information.
Proficient in project management, including anticipating developments and reacting adeptly to different situations.
Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in coordinating and prioritizing actions.
Collaborative team player who excels at working with diverse groups.
Proficient in using statistical tools.
