The Role
We are in search of an exceptional storyteller and passionate writer with extensive public relations experience to help drive our communications program in Europe for 6-8 months. This role reports to the Vice President of Global Communications. You will help lead key public relations activities, content creation, and execution, including but not limited to: press releases, bylined articles, customer case studies, blogs, video scripts, infographics, and social media content.
Before acceptance of the role you will be asked to provide us with 2 of the 3 items listed below: a list of current and/or previous clients, a link to a social media page that reflects your work as a consultant, or a copy of your business license. This is a remote position. Candidates are ideally located in the UK, Germany, France, or Spain.

What You'll Do

Create original content, including press releases and bylined articles to support our awareness and thought leadership efforts. Work closely with our European PR agency to develop pitches and storylines that can be placed in top life sciences trade publications. Collaborate closely with the global communications team, customer marketing, and product marketing to create company and customer stories. Help repurpose and integrate content for multiple channels and ensure that messaging and stories are coherent and consistent across multiple types of content. Manage the end-to-end content development process from ideation and research to copywriting, editing, and revisions to quality assurance and final production.

Requirements

6-8 years of experience that includes PR agency and in-house communications roles Bachelors in Journalism, Marketing, PR, English, Communications or related field Exceptional ability to write and communicate clearly and concisely An exceptional storyteller that knows how to mine for great stories Must be able to simultaneously focus on big picture, details, and driving results Track record creating thought leadership in the technology sector Knack for translating complex topics into compelling, digestible stories Strong spirit of collaboration and proven ability to work across different groups Passion for creating excellent, high-quality deliverables Highly self-motivated and results-driven with a can-do attitude
