Job Summary

Vita Coco was launches in France in 2015, where it has seen exponential growth over the last three years supported by launches into the coconut oil and coconut milk categories with Vita Coco Coconut Oil and Vita Coco Coconut Milk. This is a really exciting opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing company and build your career within marketing and deliver disruptive and engaging campaigns to be proud of.


In a nutshell, you are responsible for:


Development & Execution of our consumer engagement plan including online across the Vita Coco Portfolio. Transforming market research and insights into brand activation and innovation development ideas. Development and execution of Vita Coco innovation plans from launch.

In more detail, this means:

Working with the EMEA team and external agencies to create and deliver outstanding marketing campaigns, thinking of new and innovative ways to connect with the target consumer Understanding, adapting and implementing global brand & promotional strategies Develop compelling stories for the existing portfolio to maintain growth and help deliver our business goals Successful implementation of disruptive trade & consumer activation plans Leading media planning and development within France Lead the experiential program, developing our sampling and trial activations Management of our ambassador and macro/micro/grassroots influencer plans Develop the social strategy, analysing how best to reach our audience across the ever changing digital platforms Work closely with our in-house creative team to create ownable and disruptive content to engage and influence our target audience Day to day management of social media platforms. Scheduling, publishing and reporting on content. Establish regular consumer insights updates and make sound strategic recommendations Work internally with the sales team to update and align all brand strategies Manage the marketing budget with monthly reporting to make budget and investment proposals

Specific knowledge, qualifications, skills & experience required:

Minimum of 2 years experience working on brands sold within the grocery sector Proven brand marketing experience, including budget responsibility, within a market leading FMCG organisation Fluent in both French and English Excellent IT skills within Microsoft Office Exceptional project management skills with a willingness to get stuck in A self-starter with impact and ability to deliver outstanding results within a fast moving, dynamic environment A winning work ethic with a high level of personal accountability Can think outside the box and demonstrate initiative to get the job done Strong communications and stakeholder management skills to influence and build relationships creating excitement inside and outside the organisation A natural pace setter, confident and goal oriented with a drive to make progress working with people, whilst being comfortable with a level of ambiguity And of course, a love of all things coconuts!
