We are looking for a high potential professional Field Service Operations Managerwith a main responsibility in leading and developing the Operations business, able to execute the work with quality, health, safety and follow environmental and cost targets! This professional will work to meet KPIs and ensure customer satisfaction in all activities.


The preferred location for this position is in Marseille, France.


Your role and responsibilities


As a Field Service Operations Manager your work will include these responsibilities:



Lead, manage and develop the operations department to deliver customer orders at the right time in top of the class quality. Optimal performance of customer installations and customer satisfaction comes first.  
Manage the whole Field Services delivery in accordance to the Wartsila code of Conduct, QEHS guidelines and customer’s requirements.   
Foster co-operation with internal and external stakeholder to maximize customer satisfaction.  
Meet and exceed the Field Services and Company targets. Capture the sales opportunities that might arise during the execution.  
Establish and manage ordinary meetings to review major metrics and develop a continuous improvement culture.  Provide on time reliable reporting.  
Ensure the standard ways of working and tools are used and followed according to the Company standards.   
Take decision based on priorities, target setting, QEHS requirements and other circumstances.   
Interface with Sales and the other delivery functions (Marine Solutions, GLS, TS, CM, PM, CA, other FS Operations).   

The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You will be reporting to General Manager FS Operations Region Mediterranean and working as a part of energetic team with diverse expertise. 


Requirements for the position



Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical degree or yearly experience in the position
Advanced or fluent in English
Fluent in French.

As an ideal candidate you might also have…



Have technical knowledge as well as knowledge in Wärtsilä products, or multiple years of experience in lifecycle services in leadership role and excellent understanding of Field Services processes and ways of working for FS Operations.
Grant knowledge of End-to-End process from Sales to Invoicing.
Have skills in MS Office and SAP.
Be results-oriented.
Have good communications skills.
Have cultural sensitivity.
Grant cost awareness.
Be able to implement planning and target setting.
Have ability to take decisions in a fast and complex environment.
Have strong customer focus coupled with strong leadership and management skills.

Field Services Non-Conformity 
Time to invoice
Cost to Serve
Field Services Order Book accuracy
LTI and all the metrics to prevent LTI such as Job Safety Analisys, Near Miss, WeCare and Safety Walks
