About the Team
Workday’s Value Management team is a business consulting organization that works closely with Workday’s prospective and current customers. Value Managers have the mission to partner with prospects and customers to help them understand how they can improve their business performance and gain competitive advantages through our technology. They are engaged across all stages of the sales process, from prospecting to final presentations to the client team to measuring the values realized after implementation.

About the Role



This role will be an individual contributor position with high visibility within the geography and requires demonstration of leadership beyond the immediate span of control
You will be working in close collaboration with sales, solution consultants, professional services teams and marketing.
You are aligned to a sales territory and work with the sales leadership in that territory. You have the freedom to decide how you manage your area and make decisions on where you focus and how you bring value. 
You develop an understanding of the customer’s strategy and needs, and craft powerful value messaging and C-level presentations on how Workday can bring value to their organization and deliver on their strategy.
You own value conversations with executives and senior stakeholders centered on our value proposition.
You convince prospects and customers of the business benefits of SaaS investments and craft compelling cases for approval by the investment boards.
You become a key part of the customer’s HR and Finance digital transformation journey by forming long-term value partnerships and measuring the values realized post implementation.

Travel to customer sites is typically “day trips” and you are in control of your own travel schedule.  Travel for our Value Managers averages roughly 30%. 


About You




5+ years (we hire at various levels of seniority, 5 years is a minimum, some team members are much more senior) of work experience in a management consulting firm, corporate strategy, sales strategy, enterprise finance, business transformation, or other roles which require analytical thinking
Bachelor’s degree required

Other Qualifications



Deeply curious about business, highly motivated to have an impact on customers, and broadly interested in variety of customers/issues
Presentation and persuasion skills at C-level
Ability to build highly compelling business cases for enterprise software projects

Strong consulting skillset, including discovery, analysis (quantitative & qualitative), listening, and communication skills

Excellent deliverable creation and storytelling skills (typically in PowerPoint)
Demonstrated creativity for new initiatives and a “get it done” mentality to achieve results in a fast-paced, highly varied environment
Experience in a technology / SaaS company is beneficial but not essential
MBA, CFA or Accountancy and Finance qualifications encouraged
