Demand Planner H/F




Within the Downstream Supply Chain Planning Team and reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, the Corporate Demand Planner builds the Company Demand Plan with a bottom-up approach and helps to convert it in a Supply Plan. You will work closely with the Corporate Business Planner, the Supply & Distribution Planning teams, Regional Demand Planners, Merchandising, Production and Finance.




Missions


1/ Forecast Sales with Business Planning, Merchandising & Regions inputs for Products (Permanent & Fashion).


Build bottom-up Central sales forecasts at macro-family, including Permanent at ref/col level, with the input Regions & Merchandising



Set up a Monthly reforecasting exercise that will allow an update of the Demand Plan and ensure alignment between top-down and bottom-up approaches. Analyze gaps & prepare scenario & action plan for S&OP exercise

• Share the Demand plan with Supply planning team


• Propose & challenge regional safety stocks levels for Permanent & OTS ST% / depth targets for Fashion


2/ Lead the Rolling Permanent Order Process with the Regions, Merchandising & Supply


• Co-build and ensure the realization in due time of the Global Retro-planning. Animate the different steps & deliver the central guidelines (Assortment targets, Safety Stock levels targets, % commonality …), in close collaboration with Merchandising


• Share the demand plan with Supply planning & Production, considering new products launch requirements


• Follow up the IT developments & evolution of Demand planning Tools:



Be responsible of Data Integrity of Anaplan Demand Plan Applications
Specify the needs (enhancements, bugs corrective) in collaboration with Regions, Merchandising and Supply & Distribution needs
Be the key-user for the Demand planning IT tools (Permanent rolling forecasts, Fashion Carry-over)

• Be the point of contact of all Demand Planners in Region (organize trainings, share best practices etc…)





3/ Contribute to the Downstream Supply Chain transformation roadmap


• Build central sales forecasts approach


• Participate in building new processes : Push to pull flow, Fashion carryover OTS, Consolidated sales plan Fashion & Permanent, Product life cycle…


4/ Analysis & Reporting



Monthly Sales Forecast Accuracy at ref/col level for Permanent : liaise with regions to explain the gaps and propose corrective action plan
Provide stocks landing scenarii and share with Regions, Merchandising & Finance
Suggest action plans on product lifecycle based on sales trends, with Merchandising, Regions, Finance

Profile


Experience


• 5 years in Demand Planning preferably in fashion or luxury industry


• Bac+5 Engineering or Commercial Master’s Degree



Technical Skills


• Great capacity for data analysis with knowledge of MS Excel & PowerPoint


• Good knowledge of APS systems or EPM ideally Anaplan


• English fluent



Personal Skills


• Rigorous & analytical mind able to synthesize figures and conduct complex cross-functional analyses


• Autonomous, able to work on several missions at the same time and react quickly in the event of an unforeseen event


• Ability to summarize and to see the “big picture”


• Great inter-relational and communication skills


• Product sensibility
