With ambitions like this, imagine what you could do? About Rechargeable Battery Materials Umicore's rechargeable battery materials (RBM) give people autonomy and connectivity. We are a pioneer in battery materials that give added range and performance to electric vehicles. Our materials also ensure longer battery life for portable electronics. To enable our customers to produce even better performing batteries we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas About the COO organization We aim for an unprecedented growth across all continents, requiring us to build capacity from Refining to Battery Materials on multiple locations. With this, driving excellence in all what we do is paramount. The COO organization covers a wide variety of functional areas stretched across the globe; Process Technology, Engineering, Operations, Digital, Operational Excellence and Sustainability. In order to succeed in our ambitions, we need to ensure smooth workflows and efficient communication across all functions in our organization. Which is where you come in. How you will make the difference You manage the agendas of the COO organisation You organize meetings (e.g. management meetings, performance review meetings, SteerCo meetings and site visits) and events with the aim of efficiently supporting the COO organization. You will be responsible for the data and knowledge management incl. structuring and maintenance of digital workspaces (e.g. MS Teams and Sharepoint linked to the COO team) You will support the COO with the preparation of presentations incl. reworking of slides and writing content summaries You will ensure the communication within the COO team runs smoothly by independently following up on tasks and deadlines and supporting a clear communication structure within the team You provide overall administrative (travel, logistics) and organizational support to the COO management team You will coordinate meetings and workflows with external contacts incl. JVs \You will support the team with the preparation of various communication and info material What you bring to the team You might be a recent university graduate with the aim of building your career in Supply Chain, Engineering or Sustainability or bring experience from a similar role. Besides a university degree you bring a high degree of energy, creativity, and the ability to self-start You bring experience working in multi-cultural teams and ideally bring additional language skills apart from an excellent command of the English language You are a highly structured person Interest in the field of rechargeable battery materials and/or Supply Chain and the ambition to continue your career in this field Analytical, fast and flexible, able to switch priorities is what you are. Focused on results, committed, flexible and have positive ‘can do' spirit is what you bring. You bring excellent digital affinity and understanding of the power of data and are able to use your knowledge in this area to optimize workflows in the team Team player, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, with hands-on mentality and service-minded is what you aim for.
