Our main mission is to encourage patients to share their experiences with like-minded people, keep them informed on their conditions and help them contribute to medical research through participation on online surveys.

Community Manager – Internship

Post description:

We are looking for a student to support the Digital Marketing team by encouraging members’ registration and engagement on the Carenity website through content writing and creation, moderation and animation of our communities, and implementation of partnerships.

ANIMATION AND MODERATION ON THE FORUM

- Be in charge of community management in the US and UK and assist the French Community Manager in facilitating and moderating discussions, encouraging and promoting member-generated content.

WRITING OF HEALTH ARTICLES

- Participation in the editorial strategy and writing of articles for our Health Magazine. This participation in the management of the editorial content has a double objective: to satisfy our readers by providing updated and quality information, as well as to increase our positioning in search engines (SEO).

PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT

- Research and set up partnerships in the United States (health sites, patient associations, patient blogs, etc.) in order to make Carenity known and attract new members.

- Help with the research and set up of partnerships with French patient associations.

CONTENT CREATION

- Management and animation of the UK and US social networks (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube).

- Creation of newsletters for Carenity members.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

- Active participation in the Digital Marketing team's projects and the development of new features.

- Bring help to the Communication Manager on internal communications projects.

Required skills:

Fluent English required (excellent command of spelling, grammar, syntax…) and a good level of French
A university degree (Bac +3/5) in digital marketing, communication or from a journalism or business school
Knowledge of digital marketing and web content production (SEO)
Writing skills and good communication skills
Enjoy human contact, sense of diplomacy and empathy for the patients
Curious, rigorous and enthusiastic
Previous experience as a community manager and interest in health care sector are a big plus
Desire to work in a dynamic and growing start-up

Post available in February 2023:

Full time/ 6 months internship

Location: Paris 8ème (Saint Lazare neighbourhood).
