Location: Paris, France


Our Perfumery Communications Team is looking for a:


Global Digital & Social Media Senior Manager


Whose mission will be to lead and execute Digital & Social Media projects for Perfumery Communications at a global level. The role focuses on driving timely content creation to enhance the Firmenich Perfumery reputation  & business in the digital world as well as leading social media campaigns, metrics & reporting, community management & overseeing paid social media projects. The role also includes other digital projects like website maintenance and content creation, and internal platforms.  

This position reports into the Perfumery Global Communications Director.


This is an exciting, varied role for someone to join a busy, passionate & driven communications team and to be involved in business performance through global communications activities, both for Fine and Consumer Fragrance.

You will work hand in hand with the other members of the Communications team, Content Manager, PR Communications Managers, as well as Corporate Communication teams at Group level. 

You will work closely with global Marketing, CI, Sustainability, Digital, R&D teams to ensure consistency of approaches and strategies. 

You will also manage external vendors and other relevant stakeholders depending on project.


Tasks include the following key responsibilities:



Content Creation & Campaign Management: Drive the creation of external content & digital marketing campaigns such as e-newsletter and website pages to support Firmenich’s Perfumery reputation & business needs. Content should be digital and social-first and engaging while aligned to company & business strategies, purpose, & core values. 
Metrics & Reporting: Lead on Firmenich’s Perfumery digital and social media metrics & reporting. Ensure data in the tracking system is up to date and conduct regular reviews. Report insights & learnings to shape social media strategy. 
Community Management: Help shape the voice of Firmenich Perfumery on Social Media. Engage with the external audiences to drive proactive & reactive conversations across the Global Social Media Channels. 
Paid Social Media: Oversee paid social media campaigns, execution & budget in collaboration with key business stakeholders to drive social media channel growth, engagement & generate new business leads. Consider collaborations with industry specific partnerships and consider how to drive content through omnichannel approach.

Essential experience:



Significant experience in Communications in a large organisation or PR agency, with significant experience in sectors where creativity and innovation are differentiators
Understanding international ecosystem of key players, brands, influencers
Experience managing content strategies on digital and social media
Clear understanding of the requirements and demands of an international role
Stakeholder management – multiple internal and external
Proven networking abilities
Able to bring fresh, new ideas and understand the pulse of culture

Profile:



5-7 years minimum experience in digital and social media either in a communications agency or a multinational company
Fragrance or beauty industry experience and knowledge could be highly valued
Outstanding copywriting and storytelling skills in English for social media content development (French would be a plus)
Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices
Expertise in social media metrics & reporting and proficiency with popular content management systems
Proven background in community management & paid social media projects
Attention to detail and quality, delivering what is promised and spending time where it matters; speed and reactivity are important
Excellence in multitasking and ability to prioritize, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Proven planning, organization and project management skills
Self-starter with ability to work well both independently and in a team and capacity to organize and develop specific projects as required
Creative, innovative, and an independent thinker
Continuous improvement attitude with open and friendly personality
Proficiency in computer skills, such as MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud Applications (Photoshop & Illustrator), photo and video editing is a plus
