Job description

As engineers, we really like to build "stuff", whether it is for customers or for internal use. However, as engineers, UX, design and usability is not a strong suit. We want to improve our capabilities to deliver more user friendly and easy to use product.

We have built a product Irma, which needs to be enhanced with a new web interface. We will also build a new product based on Irma where a lot of different information will have to be displayed in an actionable way for the user. Last but not least, we also have internal tools which would really benefit from your advice.

Where you can help us

As a UX/UI designer, you will be the owner of design and usability for whatever we build, mainly for applications, but can also help our marketing team to improve documents and web campaigns. You will be working with a team of frontend developers. They are in charge of building what you'll design.

If you are interested in data visualisation, if you like to keep up to date about the last UX and usability tricks, if you enjoy building beautiful and easy to use applications for people, all that in a diversified environment, this is the right spot:

Business and functional analysis

User interface design, prototyping, wireframing, sitemaps, user flows, use cases.

Organization, structuring and presentation of data.

Design of backoffice interfaces.

You will have to redesign an existing application to be able to follow the new implementation and product growth, as well as optimize the visualization of the application data. And if you are interested, you can learn other aspects of frontend development, more oriented to technical aspects, such as code development.

Your day to day work

Design UX and prototypes: Build a user-centric UI, test and validate

Work with the engineers, but challenge their ideas and bring new ones

Run tests to get feedbacks, validate or not some designs

Participate to meetings to understand engineers visions and customers expectations

Who you are

Passionate about solving data organization and creating scalable and extensible interfaces

You strongly believe UX brings value to products

You propose solutions for various applications

At least 3 years of experience as UX designer in an agile environment

Fluent in English (or Spanish) as the frontend team is based in Argentina, but you'll be based in France
