Regular
The General-Purpose Microcontroller Sub-Group (GPM) is the largest division at ST Microelectronics and the world leader in the microcontroller market supported by our STM32 products.
Leader in the Internet of Things market which is a rapidly expanding sector driven by strong growth, GPM Division asserts its ambition in the Microcontroller market (STM32) by continuing to innovate and to bring tomorrow's solutions.
Passionated, motivated, join our teams of state of the art engineers.
In order to support its development, the Microcontrollers division is looking for design engineers to create the digital peripherals embedded in the next generations of STM32 MCUs.
You will join the GPM design department in Rousset, near Aix-en-Provence, made of around sixty design engineers.
You will have the opportunity to participate in the design of a wide variety of digital peripherals such as communication peripherals, real-time control peripherals, mathematical or signal processing accelerators, audio or graphic peripherals, timers or memory controllers.
Your mission will cover all the design steps, from the definition to the production of the integrated circuit: definition & architecture, RTL implementation, functional simulations using a test-bench with an ARM CortexM processor, synthesis, STA, DFT checks, CDC/RDC checks.
You will also support verification teams (UVM + FPGA), firmware teams and end-customers.
Graduated from a solid engineering school with a background in electronics, preferably coupled with a specialization in microelectronics, you benefit from a substantial successful experience in the field of digital or SoC design.
Required skills:
Digital electronic design
SoC architectures (System On Chip)
ARM AMBA bus
Knowledge of some integrated digital peripherals among the following: SPI, USART, CAN, USB, Ethernet, SDCard/SDIO, PWM, Memory Controllers, Cache, mathematical accelerators, etc.
Use of UNIX environment and scripting techniques
