Private Sport Shop is the leading social ecommerce platform for sporting goods on the European market: 15 million registered members, 2.5 million app users, 1.6 million followers, 7 language versions – and ambitious growth plans for the coming years! Our base in Montpellier is a melting pot of (sports) cultures. Our 200 employees at Private Sport Shop practice (almost) every sport.

Even though international development is a priority for Private Sport Shop, we do not forget our home country and are looking for a senior candidate able to drive the B2C growth of France in the years to come.

 He (she) will have for mission to deliver the French budget by localizing the website and favoring the growth of each of our many business models.  

To do so, he(she) will work closely with the following teams: Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing, Planning and B2B. You will report to the Head of International.

TASKS

Build and lead the French Market P&L (privatesportshop.fr , privatesportshop.be/fr )

• Define & Implement country strategy
• Develop dashboards and action plans to achieve the objectives set (commercial KPIs, web analytics, ROI, budgets, etc.)
• Lead commercial animation
• Co building of acquisition strategy and marketing plans (CRM, social, loyalty)
• Develop the notoriety of PSS in France (set up of partnerships / online / offline branding strategy)
• Participate in the definition of the roadmap for quality-of-service improvement projects in the countries (carriers, payment method, CX)
• Overlook the implementation of a marketplace model and refurbish initiative for the French Market partnering with dedicated teams

Connaissances appreciées :

• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
• Analytical competence
• Good command of the Office Pack, especially Microsoft Excel
• Good knowledge English

Qualités et compétences:

• You have a strong sales mentality, want to deliver results and always close the next deal.
• Very strong social skills to be able to bring together many different teams around one goal in a matrix organization.

Profil recherché :

PROFILE

• A-levels and further education in marketing / purchasing / retail / sales / management
• Very good knowledge of the sports industry in France.
• Experience in P&L responsibility
• Ideally one significant experience in a marketing/notoriety role and one in sales in an e-commerce company.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

• Position based in Montpellier or home office with regular attendance at the head office in Montpellier.
• Availability: as soon as possible
• Permanent position
