Description

As part of the AXA IM Trading strategy we are re-engineering the existing infrastructure and replacing tools with a combination of strategic data feeds, data analysis tools, predictive tools, pre and post trade trades controls, low touch booking tools, and a trading dashboard/workflow which will support the trading function globally. This role is for a senior technical business analyst.

Key Accountabilities

Participate and take decision in the design of the strategic TSF and Operations architecture to include javascript user interfaces, Python/C# business object layer and high speed Python object persistence, running on Azure.
Gather requirements and closely work with developers to deliver OTC derivatives re-engineering, smart order routing, Global One retirement, automated cash reinvestment algo, new pricers, interfaces to matching platform, NAV validation, OTC prices validation, business dahsboard and workflows and development of REST APIs.
Agile SDLC - participate in the transformation to an agile environment through the development of agile tools ie automated testing and release, by providing test cases scenarios and making sure they contribute to a better code quality
Engage with dedicated squads made of developers & Tech Leads and write user stories, actively participate to demo and be very close to business users
Engage with PO/Tech Lead, demonstrate the ability to understand the roadmap/product vision and translate these into user stories which will lead to implementing business solutions improving efficiency and trading capability

Qualifications

Experience in technology within the financial services industry building or supporting applications in an agile environment
Previous successful experience as business analysis
Deep understanding of the Asset Management value chain, especially the Trading workflows
Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of front and middle office concepts
Ability to communicate well with business users and technology staff
Understanding of key concept of Securities Financing and Repo markets would be very much appreciated
