Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager H/F
CONTEXT
beIN MEDIA Group is looking for its Business Intelligence Analytics Manager to join the DIGITAL team.
RESPONSABILITIES
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data-driven use cases and needs. Utilize platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to centralize access to essential KPIs and metrics, optimize content ROI, and design aggregated reports and dashboards. Drive discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and leverage insights for enhanced decision-making.
Own and lead the operational measurement and analytic infrastructure of the BeIN digital OTT service and Digital Content Platforms, working with stakeholders, executive management and engineering to define and refine measurement goals, performance indicators, challenges and opportunities.
Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries for OTT video content performance, social media metrics, subscription (retention, churn, ARPU, LTV) and web analytics.
Contribute to analytic process improvements across multiple teams and support integrations with Data Warehouse and Visualization (Looker) teams for improved efficiency and quality of work.
Take full ownership of the BI needs of the all beIN Digital products (OTT, Content platforms, Social Media and affiliate content partnerships), develop the scope and budget, and identify investments in infrastructure and people that are required including direct hiring and management.
Be a subject matter expert on all digital data sources including Google analytics, identify reporting requirements, lead the implementation of data collection software and processes, evaluate post-launch metrics and support user training.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROFILE
8+ years working in digital media in a similar reporting/analytics role
Expert in Google Analytics (both UA and GA4) with at least 5 years’ experience designing, developing, debugging, and operating client-side Analytics for both web and mobile apps
Tool proficiency with Google Tag Management and other analytic tools such as custom APIs, Heat-Mapping software, video QoE (Conviva) and A/B testing tools
Deep technical understanding of data capture for web (Javascript), mobile apps and video players.
Knowledge of BI Visualization tools such as Looker (LookML), Tableau, Power BI
Significant experience developing and maintaining large datasets with strong SQL knowledge
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Comprehensive knowledge of statistical methods
Ability to communicate complex ideas concisely and effectively
Comfortable working in fast, flat and meritocratic organizational structures
Preference will be given to candidates with transactional and content data experience
Passion for sports or entertainment, SVOD or OTT industries
