POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is home-based in France. Your main contact site is in Maurens (France ) but you will work from home assisting your team mainly settled i n US . You will collaborate closely with your partner in US to propose cohesive and scalable solutions tha t advances Digital Customer Experience (DCX) .
The DCX
The D igital C ustomer Experience and E-Commerce Platform organization, within Cepheid, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the team. The e-commerce team is focused on delivering state of the art , frictionless e-commerce, and digital experience customers. This role will play a key part by working directly with multiple internal and external partners across the DCX and IT (information technology) organizations to understand, clarify and docu ment business and end user requirements by translating them to streamlined and clear technical requirements that can be proven by IT teams.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Business or Systems Analyst, with solid contributions in a product develo pment environment, focused on results, self-starter, and with proven success in contributing to the growth of a business. The candidate will blend analysis skills with strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving together with reporting capabili ties. You are flexible and able to prioritize in a changing business environment, this role may be for you.
Main job responsibilities:
Owns the Business Requirements process for the specific focus area with a strong emphasis on working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to develop a plan to achieve the project dedication.
Apply business sense when analyzing and refining elicitation results into requirements and designs.
Decompose product requirements into detailed user stories, functional and tec hnical for both custom and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems.
Work in an Agile environment and use tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Engage with key stakeholders to create current and future business process and data flows, design documents and test scripts to harmonize and optimize business processes to reduce the complexity of software solutions as well as aid engineering and QA partners during development and validation process.
Conduct functional, user acceptance testing and lead partner s during the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) process.
Clearly communicate concepts to relevant stakeholders, and follow up to verify understanding and approval
Propose alternative solutions to problems or opportunities and informed recommendations based on evaluation of the solution’ s value
Ensure delivery of the greatest business value to the team and collaborators by working with the team to properly align priorities with our key stakeholders.
Use common business analysis techniques (process analysis, interviews, root cause analysis , acceptance, and evaluation criteria, etc.) to deliver better business outcomes
C omplete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
Minimum requirements:Education and Experience (in years):
Bachelo r’s degree in CS , Information Systems or similar with 5+ years of related work experience
Master’s degree in CS, Information Systems or similar with 3+ years of related work experience
Doctoral degree in CS, Information Systems or similar with 0-2+ years of related work experience
A previous experience in e-commerce would be appreciated.
Knowledge and skills:
Understanding and working knowledge of SAP , Salesforce, and other Order Management systems
Ability to drive and facilitate process flow mapping discussions with cross-functional teams
Influencing skills when guiding stakeholders during solution options
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong business acumen to translate information into relevant and meaningful insight
Comfort able working in newly forming, ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are key skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as high ethical standards. Ability to create and present to multiple organizati ons within Cepheid
Ability to handle multiple priorities, organize complex requests, and resolve issues creatively
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Word, Excel and Power BI
Ability to handle highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
Ability to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment
Intellectually meticulous, analytical, and curious
Proficient in English is required . Good knowledge of any other European languag e is a plus.
