Job Purpose: The overall purpose of this role is to provide advice, guidance, analysis, and reporting of financial information. Responsibility for all 4 Business Units in France.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Tax

Prepare and process month-end journal entries; prepare balance sheet account reconciliations; calculate, update, and assist the maintenance of product standard cost in ERP system; gathering data and generating reports in support of trend analysis F/A management (control, tracking, depreciation etc) Provide support to SII reconciliation Calculate and analyze net sales including bonus accruals and sales adjustments

AOP and Forecast process

Support coordination of monthly Forecast and Annual Operating Plan templates and submissions; manage submission of monthly updates Prepare key actuals and forecast reports and work with the team to identify and explain material changes Prepare key company-wide and business unit sales trend analyses Prepare and update documentation of Corporate FP&A processes Support ad hoc reporting and analysis and support other initiatives and projects as needed

Business Analytical Support

Analyze and interpret monthly financial results to identify financial issues, for business units, internal departments and business partners; provide insights Develop visibility on actual expenses and future events cost with the businesses Improve data integration and maintain existing reports and analysis on Customer / Business Unit Level Cover ad hoc requests Control and develop Opex analysis and provide analytical support during the Monthly Review Grants expenses control and HCP expenses analysis Implement Global and EMEA new processes and software / tools locally

Others

Ensure Edwards compliance by applying knowledge of applicable regulations (e.g., Sunshine Act, SOX, GAAP financials, SEC, IRS) to develop explanations for internal and external auditors Other incidental duties: Assess basic system capabilities and process efficiencies, and make recommendations for improvements. May be required to work on the tasks of team members.

Key Experiences:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in or locally recognized degree/certification in Accounting or Finance. 2 years minimum of previous related experience required in forecasting, planning, or expense analysis (experience in monthly closing, active participation in the preparation of Intrastat and vat returns, cooperation with auditors) and accounting. Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems; ERP (e.g., JDE, Oracle, SAP) Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with planning/reporting systems, (HFM/ANAPLAN), large ERP systems, and database or data visualization tools Experience compiling and analyzing large, complex data sets Experience in forecasting, budgeting and analysis, especially financial modelling Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and communicative French Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the department on specific projects Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships Strong team spirit “Can Do” attitude
