Pega Business Analyst

Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)

General Description:

Responsible for translating business requirements into detailed function specifications and if necessary, for managing requests for changes to the specifications. Has sound knowledge of the organization's systems and processes, expertise in the business area, and current technology advances and IT capabilities. Works mostly on the parts of the analysis processes of major projects and may work alone on small scale standard projects.

Job family:

Develops effective relationships with business units, divisions or groups of users.
Leads the DCO sessions during the baselining phase, create mockups in App studio, Aligns with LSA on the solution.
Articulate the Pega design in business terms and blueprint the features to facilitate Change Management.
Ensures required IT services are identified, developed and supported to the satisfaction of the business unit/division.
Establishes and maintains service level agreements and is the main point of contact for all service issues.
Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems
Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements.
Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

Role:

Design or modify information systems through process of business analysis, identifying user needs, documenting requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Considers computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis. Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Assists in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how these automated functions are integrated into the rest of the business and IT processes.
Interviews with the internal and/or external clients to understand business requirements.
Focus is on analyses, gives advice on an incidental basis.
Graduate with more than 5 years of experience in Pega.
Analysis of moderate complex business requirements, processes and IT systems. Well defined assignments.

The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division contributes to Euroclear’s competitiveness by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that does not compromise production stability and we ensure applicative production support.
