In order to speed up the development and implement the Group’s ambition in that domain, all the digital activities are being merged into one global company and P&L.

Reporting directly to the Director of Customer Success Management, we are looking for a Vessel Performance Analyst (m/f) who will be responsible for monitoring the performance ships in operation and proactively provide alerts and advice to the customer (ship owner or charterer) to optimize the environmental and economic performance of the ships.

Duties

Monitor and analyze fleet performance using Ascenz Marorka tools
Proactively alert/advice the customer in case of performance deviation of a ship
Suggest features and improvements of the tools to manage daily insights into Fuel consumption and Emissions Monitoring
Works in close cooperation with the customers and the Board Team (Captain, CE, or Energy Management Officer) to manage data reporting and validation
Build performance analysis reports using the existing tools, vessel models, reported and sensor data
Provide analysis for Monthly, Quarterly & Half yearly Vessel Performance Reports - discussing these with the customers

Your Profile

Degree qualified in Data Analytics, or Naval Architect, or Hydrodynamic, or Mechanical Engineer, or Transport Engineer, or similar
Interest in ships, hydrodynamics, and engines
Previous experience in a maritime company is an advantage
Good understanding of numbers and mathematical modelling
Proven experience in Data Analytics, or similar
Good at Excel / PowerPoint
Good verbal and written English communication skills
Capable of analyzing a huge amount of data

Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Resourceful, meticulous, well-organized, and able to work independently
Learner, willing to increase own knowledge in maritime technology and ship performance management
Ability to build a case and present data effectively
Self-starter and autonomous in operational decision-making according to Company guidelines and procedures

GTT offers an attractive compensation package matching your skills and experience. The position is based in Paris area with 2 days of home working per week.
