Business Analyst RAC
Presentation of the Refractory Abrasives & Construction Business Area, in a nutshell:
39 industrial sites in 15 countries
4,500+ customers serviced in 95 countries

Reporting to the Refractory Producers Market VP, the business analyst is the business partner to the whole commercial team : Market VP, Sales & Marketing & Technical support teams.
She/He supports and provides inputs to the Refractory P. leadership Team to ensure the alignment of the Group strategy and the sales performance, and to deliver the business targets and customer satisfaction. She/He ensures the quality of master data in key systems.
Location: Ideally Belgium (La Hulpe) , or France (Paris)
Refractory Producers business : International scope (Americas, EMEA, India, China & APAC)
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze competitors and market performance (together with Marketing)
Measure, analyze, give recommendations for complex business cases requested
Leads or supports in specific team’s projects (business extension, impact of new partnership, closure of assets, etc.)
Run monthly sales & marketing analysis :rebate schemes, price negotiations, price range, cluster strategy, …
Produce monthly Sales KPIs: volume, price, mix analysis, Order book, Book to Bill, standard gross margin
Analyze client / product profitability,hand in hand with Product Managers
Support segment’s roadmap (5 year plans)
Produce sales reporting to build pre-flash, sales huddles, quarterly/budget presentations, 5 year plans and other requests
Provide past, actuals as well as predictive analysis to support sales forecasting
Accountable for the forecast process and accuracy for the segment, in cooperation with demand planning and sales team, and provide insights and outlier analysis
Support the Commercial Excellence initiatives like Commercial incentive programs (segment governance), Price Nego tracker, other initiatives
Cooperate with other Business Analysts and Financial Controllers to harmonize reportings & processes (PRISM implementation for instance, customer bonuses management)
Manage periodic data management for instance to make sure that the right sales data is extracted from the respective ERPs
Participate to the automatization projects of data management recurring tasks & help to resolve data quality problems
Ad hoc support Business intelligence & Data Management Support : market segmentation, customer allocation, key account in the Business Intelligence too
Team management & collaboration
Managing 1 team member from Indian Hub (junior analyst), work and manages ad hoc interns as well; develop team goals and management plans.
Close collaboration with the other RAC Business Performance managers / Business analysts ; sharing best practices and working together on commun RAC or Group initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with minimum of 3+ years of equivalent work-related experience in business analysis. Strategy experience is an added advantage.

Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentation
