The Talent Acquisition team works as a strategic, collaborative partner to source, attract, recruit, and hire diverse, best-in-class talent to support Mattel’s business needs and build our future talent pipeline.

The Opportunity:
Reporting into the Director Talent EMEA and with a dotted-line to Global Talent Acquisition Lead, the Manager of Talent Acquisition EMEA will be responsible for leading the EMEA Talent Acquisition strategy as well as performing a high-quality talent acquisition partner role, developing strategic partnership to recruit, source and consistently attract outstanding talent at all levels, building consistent pipelines and defining strategies for development.
You will partner closely with HR colleagues, leaders, key stakeholders and external partners in the region to support the company’s objectives, business growth, development of a diverse and talented workforce, embedding company values and culture into the Talent Acquisition process, and contributing to the positioning as a prime employer of choice.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Talent Acquisition (60%):
Direct responsibility for rolling out TA initiatives within the EMEA region Define and ensure consistency of process for vacancies and career opportunities across each country incl. partnering with the Director Talent and the Business on internal mobility and succession planning. Manage overall recruitment budget and strategy balancing resource capacity and cost effectiveness Manage performance levels of supplementary recruitment vendors including contract negotiation and preferred vendor panel e.g. Head Hunting (HH) agencies, candidate assessments, background checks. This may include regional Master Service Agreement (MSA) contracts Data Analysis – pull and present data including candidate experience metrics, recruitment efficiencies, and sourcing channel effectiveness, analyze social posts and content success and engagement. Other projects directed to offer outstanding candidate care throughout the selection and offer management process (Selection skills training, Improved candidate experience and new technology implementation…) Train and support Local & functional HR in their TA projects Adhoc End-to-end recruitment for some key positionsStrategic TA (20%):
Build competitive Talent market maps and market intelligence (Toy Industry, Retail, Tech, Film/TV, Auto, etc.) to determine best approach to engage talent Understand the capability and skill requirements needed in the business in the future and determining how to source these skills on time and steer workforce planning. Strategize different ways to build diverse talent pipelines for evergreen roles and work on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaignsEmployer Brand Marketing & Communications (20%):
Employer brand amplification: Channel management : Mattel Careers site LinkedIn - paid marketing opportunities as needed – analyze ads, campaigns and additional buys may be required for certain roles/campaigns D&I channels as needed Research new channels as needed Content creation and/or curation, and asset management for above channels Coordination with other Mattel social campaigns & ability to work with our marketing / digital team as needed to build a cohesive strategy Oversee on events/campaigns and content calendar and align with Global COE for TA Work with Corporate Communications and Global TA team to align macro Mattel messaging and clarify our employer value proposition. Understand Mattel awareness by market in the region to support implementation of dedicated Action Plan (boost local awareness by attending career/recruitment events, job fairs, etc…). Internal event planning/communications as needed, to leverage townhall, employee events, conferences, booths to amplify Employer Brand and ensure it resonates inside out
