Role/Responsibilities

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data & Index Solutions, and in close collaboration with various departments, this role will support the integration and delivery of Moody’s esg and climate data sets. The role will play a key role in the seamless execution of downstream data consumption for our clients and proposed enhancements to our delivery infrastructure.

Responsibilities: Assist with data extraction to create or update bespoke files for internal and external clients Provide requirements for tool development in order support client needs. Work with Moody’s product and technology teams throughout the development process for proposed delivery solutions Serve as a subject matter expert on our data and ensure excellent client support Perform data volatility tests on new data (outputs) being introduced or developed within products and services to support existing clients transition Participate in delivery process, understanding the approach, constraints, and process, and help define enhancements needed to support the integration of various data sets across Moody’s esg and climate data sets. . Coordinate projects as required

Qualifications

Qualifications: Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree) in a related discipline (e.g. data analyst, data scientist, etc), graduate/second-level degree preferred Prior experience contributing to data ingestion processes, process design and improvement projects Prior experience as an ESG specialist or similar financial services role with track record of delivering a high quality of content, insight, and customer service Project management skills and ability to coordinate and gather the different necessary information/inputs coming from the different business units Strong interest in ESG / SRI and understanding of the research produced by the different teams Excellent English language skills. Any additional languages are a plus. Good communication skills Advanced Excel including VBA with ability to conduct volatility tests on the different database and support matchings Experience in database usage and data flow management Good organisation skills, ability to manage different projects at the same time Ability to propose solution when facing a problem or the absence of a critical process
