The Product Management team  is dedicated to creating the best Decision Decisioning & AI platform for Customer Engagement, Customer Service and Process AI.

Picture Yourself at Pega:

In this role, you’ll help us evolve the next generation Pega Decisioning & AI used in highly ranked customer engagement and customer service solutions, Pega Customer Decision Hub and Pega Customer Service respectively. You will combine the attention to technical details and the ability to spot market trends to drive the definition, development and adoption of a state-of-the-art data platform for collecting, unifying and serving data for the purpose of real-time decision making. You will use your understanding of the data platforms features, scalability and availability aspects to generate new ideas on how to improve Pega’s commercial offerings. You’ll partner with a seasoned Engineering team to ensure the product meets the needs of the customers. 

What You'll Do at Pega:

•    Act as a Product Owner in Pega’s agile Scrum process. Translate market needs, customer requests, and corporate goals into clearly defined project requirements and functional product specifications.
•    Maintain a product backlog of top priority Decision Data related enhancements. 
•    Identify trends in the industry as they relate to Customer Data Platforms, generic Data Platforms and Data Infrastructure and Marketing.
•    Contribute to the development of the business plan for the areas which use Decisioning & AI  features
•    Assist with product strategy, future direction, and currently available features and functions to customers, partners, industry analysts and other areas of the organization. This includes speaking engagements, webinars, and customer visits.
•    Evaluate competitive market offerings and deliver on differentiation, positioning, and communications.  
•    Research innovative approaches to solving similar problems, remaining current on all related technologies

We are looking for someone who has: 

What You've Accomplished:

•    M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
•    7-10 years relevant experience in Product Management for Data Platforms, Customer Data Platforms, Data Infrastructure
•    Extensive experience defining, designing and delivering Data Engineering, Analytics, Customer Data Platforms or other similar products 
•    Solid knowledge of data engineering tools like Apache Spark, Apache NiFi, SQL, Presto, Hive or other similar products used for data analysis and operationalization
•    Demonstrable knowledge of AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure 
•    Solid understanding of basic software design principles, best practices and dependencies
•    Affinity with the design process and willingness to participate in all activities around design and user-facing components
•    Strong client-facing interpersonal skills and superb oral and written communication skills
•    Demonstrated desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise over time
•    Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment
•    Demonstrated ability to apply thought leadership and influence others
•    Demonstrated ability to set up ongoing procedures for collection and review of pertinent information necessary for the management or monitoring of projects
