We are looking for a Data Governance Manager! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.

Reinventing the way sales forces operate, equipped them with data-driven tools supporting the prioritization of their efforts.

Optimizing the pricing of products in real time.

Optimizing marketing spend allocation across channels.

Your key missions

To support this global transformation, Data Office aims at unleashing the power of our data assets by facilitating data management across the group. You will accelerate an ambitious program aiming at supporting our Affiliates (eg. Pernod Ricard USA, Pernod Ricard France..) through tailor made services including internal consulting support, upskilling program and community animation.

You will engage Affiliates’ CODI to launch a Data Governance program and invest into Data Governance resource(s).

You will deliver best-in-class data governance advisory to our Affiliates (+15) to define or optimized data organization and prioritization of data roadmap.

You will foster a culture of measurement to showcase the value of our efforts to senior business stakeholders

You will support hiring process of Affiliates’ Data Governance Leader in co-constructing customized job descriptions, driving interviews and organize onboarding journey at HQ.

You will conduct VIE Data Ambassadors recruitment, co-prepare mission priorities, organize onboarding journey at HQ while keeping mentoring and coaching VIEs over their misssion.

You will recruit and manage Data Governance Experts to support operations :

Closely work with other data office members and global data team to promote and foster adoption of data governance tech enablers to Affiliates (eg. business glossary).

Promote cross-market best practices to accelerate data roadmap in Affiliates.

Determine specific training needs and contribute to the creation of the materials to ensure data champions have the right skills.

Animate the global data governance community (eg. Data Governance Leaders, Data Stewards) by promoting relevant content and organizing virtual events.

You have minimum 7 years of experience working on data strategy and governance, ideally supported by strong knowledge of technical foundations of data management (data catalog, data dictionary, business glossary, data quality management)

You have experience working in an international environment, managing complex projects/program with top management stakeholders

You have an ability to guide and coach business & data teams whilst leveraging best-in-class change management techniques

You have good communication and presentation skills for stakeholder management and process analytics

You are a self-starter with self-sufficient working capability

You are able to be hands on in design and implementation activities

You speak English and French fluently
