Procurement Senior Business Analyst

Want to join a fast-moving company, among convivial teams and provide our global procurement with market insights? We are looking for a Procurement Senior Business Analyst! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.

Your objectives

Provide advanced data analysis to support categories strategy development and roadmap
Identify opportunities and risk for the business related to market macrodynamic context and trend
Provide visibility on volume forecast & analysis considering impact of market trend
Support the Category Directors to define sourcing strategy based on commodity market price and supply/demand position
Propose and maintain efficient internal processes, provides analytical support and manages performance reporting

Your key missions

Review third party market intelligence sources, collecting data via extensive desk-based research and provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders

Build standard commodity reports as timetabled and other analysis and reports on regular basis

Excel modelling and forecasting including working with and manipulating large data sets

Monitor inflation related to commodity prices and calculate estimated possible financial impact at supplier/ affiliate level

Create and update PAF models adopted with suppliers

Support in KPI definition and strategic measure implementations (according to category strategy roadmap)

Research market developments to identify trends and draw conclusions on future outlook for various commodities

Understand and define supply and demand macroeconomic context focused on main commodities

Write short reports on industry topics, including country and regional forecast reports

Work with IT to extend the scope and functionality of the PR Procurement Digital Data roadmap

Create dashboard using Power BI or other visualization tools

Support the category manager in the creation of all regular and bespoke technical research through a series of data

Director of Center of Excellence (CoE), CPO

Peers from Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) and other HQ functions (sustainability, quality, innovation)

Affiliates' procurement managers and buyers

IT / Digital Team

Central and affiliates' finance teams

You have minimum 4 years' working experience in a procurement department

You are fluent in English

You have strong analytic skills and are data driven

You have good understanding of financial and commercial context of business

You have strong communication skills, such as presenting up to C level stakeholders

You have practical experience and capabilities in digital and e-sourcing tools

Your experience working within multi-cultural FMCG organizations or consultancy would be a plus

You are open-minded and keen to develop and learn new things
You have excellent stakeholder management capability
You are good at time and activity planning and management
You are attentive to details, with a “can do” mentality
You are able to prioritize and work under pressure
You are resilient and confident, able to positively influence others
You can be dispatched to special projects and can work across multiple initiatives at the same time
