For our GSM Department we are looking for a Data Analyst.
Function description
Job Purpose
The Analyst is responsible for the consolidation and analysis of the Purchasing data of the Security Division at the European level. It collects and processes data to submit relevant recommendations and to support the Procurement team in to consolidate and optimize the spend.
His/her missions aim to bring the data to life by interpreting them. For this, the Data Analyst uses various tools and languages, including Excel but also SAS, SQL, VBA, ACCES or R. His skills in statistical techniques and his mastery of numbers makes this task easier.
The role responds to the challenge of valuing the mass of data collected, the ability to interact with different trades to understand business rationale as well as to simplify technical issues.
The person will interface with Product management, Marketing, Finance as well as Sales and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, process and study statistical data to produce business analyzes and recommendations
Build and evolve reports from Business Intelligence (BI) & Web Analytics to allow teams to have a coherent vision on the results of activity of the products and their good technical functioning,
Manage the analysis tools enabling the Purchasing department to identify opportunities for gain and rationalization
Prepare the files / data needed to structure tenders
Ensure the proper interpretation and dissemination of analysis reports resulting from BI & Web Analytics
Skills & Competences
University degree in the field of statistical studies or sciences / engineering Or Equivalent work experience
Knowledge of the business / products of electronic security or the field of electronics is a strong asset
Proficiency in statistical and data mining techniques (SAS, SPSS, VBA, ACCES), SQL database languages (R) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as QlikView, Tableau / Hadoop
Legal and regulatory knowledge of data management (use, time, life ...),
Knowledge of the field of electronic security or domain
English + at least one of the following languages (French, German, Swedish)
Rigor and ability to analyze
Ability to manage confidential information
Reactive
