Who we are looking for

The Business Analyst is responsible for liaising with business teams in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes in business processes, policies and information systems. This role will support external client change requests, within the Fund Accounting Change Management team.

What you will be responsible for

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for

Proactively communicate and collaborate with business representatives to understand requirements, scope and acceptance criteria

Obtain appropriate internal and internal/external client sign-off

Document and release internal impact assessment of the change request to the internal/external client

Escalation of risks and issues to Change Management manager

Ensure change requests are monitored and tracked through to implementation : follow up on solution including technical deployment and testing phases and status

Take ownership and initiative, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables

Project management of small initiatives may be required from time to time

Proactively identify and act on opportunities to improve current processes

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Fluent French and English : excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to explain technical topics.

Knowledge and understanding of financial products and various markets requirements.

Strong knowledge of fund accounting processes.

Advanced GP3 knowledge

Requirements Gathering – the ability to produce structured functional specification, including experience of User Story. proven ability to run effective workshops for client business users

Ability to work, contribute, and communicate effectively within immediate team, business personnel and remote teams

Highly self-motivated, detail oriented, and ability to work collaboratively

Project management education or experience would be desirable

Change Management Implementation - Being involved in projects from Business Case creation through to User Acceptance Testing co-ordination, test planning and execution

Experience working within Fund Accounting/Software provider, as a Business Analyst and/or in a hybrid role capacity as a Business Analyst/Project Manager.

Advanced PC skills including MS Office: (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Access)
