Job title: Business Analyst

Location: Schiltigheim or Cluj – Napoca

This role is part of the EMEA accounting department. The most important aspect of this position is being the key point person to consolidate the EMEA reporting and a “go to person” for accounting matters.

This role includes the following responsibilities:

Coordinate the EMEA closing activities Coordinate the business Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls in EMEA and maintains the SOX matrix updated in accordance with process and business evolutions Coordinate the external EMEA audit Be the main point of contact for the central audit team regarding the USGAAP audit, including SOX audit Be responsible for balance sheets risk reviews of EMEA legal entities (8) Manage regular accounting audits to ensure accounting compliance and accuracy Take an active role on decision making process on various technical accounting areas Be a key player in providing accounting guidance Contribute to the improvement of business and accounting processes Take responsibility on global projects (globalization and standardization)

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 3 to 4 years in external audit with an international exposure Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. Good internal audit experience (Sarbanes Oxley) Advanced level of broad analytical skills Problem solving and project leading skills Pro-active and able to work effectively within a multi-functional and cross-cultural team Facilitation and presentation skills Effective communication with other functions and/or business partners external to the company Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel SAP working knowledge would be a plus Fluent in English (professional)
