The EMEA Demand Analyst Manager is a member of the EMEA Regional Demand Planning team. (S)he will be responsible for the evolution of the ML Stat Forecast algorithm and data architecture.
(S)he generates insights by analysis product segmentation and market trends, Business context, historical shipments, sell through and statistical forecast performance to guide operational excellence for our EMEA Demand Planning group.
(S)he will be the SPOC collaborating with the Statistical Forecast provider (Antuit) and the global Stat CoE to continuously improve statistical forecast accuracy for our business, leveraging best in class modelling technology. (S)he reports on Stat forecast change and stat forecast performance monthly, challenges our vendor to continuously improve results and challenges our planners to deliver forecast value add.
(S)he drives EMEA Demand Planning KPI analysis and action plan.
(S)he is a subject matter expert for the E2E Planning transformation initiative, collaborating with global Stat/ Plan CoE to stand-up the o9/Stat Global Template.
(S)he oversees a team of 2 forecasts analysts.
The role is located in our EMEA headquarters in Paris and will report the VP Demand Planning EMEA.
Responsibilities
Enhance ML algorithm and data architecture over time. Analyze Stat forecast and performance to generate insights across brands, affiliates and channels that will guide operational excellence, decision making and planning strategy for the EMEA demand planning team (>50+ planners) Identify through data analytics the biggest opportunities for EMEA forecast accuracy gains Design monthly Analytics package to be delivered monthly to the regional demand planning & Brand team that is insightful and actionable Own relationship / be primary EMEA POC for Statistical Forecast provider (Antuit), global CoE and the EMEA region: ensures the EMEA region receives due service as per SLA, collaborate to operationalize new processes that leverage the advanced stat functionalities (NPL stat forecast, Sales Drivers modelling); escalate when necessary to senior leadership Work with the demand planning team to model sales drivers’ input into the statistical forecast, measure their accuracy and draw insights and recommendation Subject Matter Expert (SME), represent EMEA in E2E transformation initiative to design and build technology to support stat forecast and demand planning work processes, as such serve as the key interface between ELC Operational Demand planning team, the service providers (Antuit, o9) and the global and regional CoE Configure dashboards and reporting tools to enhance data visualization and adapt to multiple needs/ audience Perform monthly analysis of Forecast Accuracy KPIs (MAPE, Attainment, Bias) and present results to senior leaders Facilitate Forecast Accuracy KPI action plan reviews, follow-through on actions with accountable stakeholders Drive a culture of Data science; Data analysis in the Regional Demand Planning team Staff & develop a team of 2 forecast analysts
