Purpose of the Role
Integrated to Trainline’s strategic goals and motivated to contribute to business success, our experienced Talent Acquisition team is focused on finding great hires for our teams. As a business, we are in high growth mode in the UK and in Europe and this creates lots of visibility and impact for the team. For us, it’s as much about attitude to hiring and agility as it is about identifying and attracting the right person into the role at the right time.
Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be joining an enthused, high performing talent team who are keen to find another smart, experienced, collaborative recruiter to work with us. Your role will be to find the very best Marketing (Brand and digital) and commercial professionals out there, across European markets specifically France and Italy. You'll work alongside other genuine and authentic recruiters who fully understand the domains they support.
We're looking for Recruiters/Talent Acquisition professionals with a proven track record for delivering top talent, preferably in-house, with fast paced, international digital businesses, across a variety of areas, particularly Marketing and Commercial/Corporate functions.
You will bring with you a strong understanding of European talent markets and excellent sourcing skills and will tackle some immediate open roles, as well as take the lead on pipelining for succession planning and areas of continued hiring.
Using sourcing techniques to unlock the path to recruit the best talent
Screening and informing passive and active candidates, identifying the right talent for the right roles
Compelling direct/non-direct competitor Talent to join our global leading Travel Tech business through engaging attraction strategies
You will quickly support end to end hiring; managing recruitment briefs, interview/assessment cycles and offer processes
Play a key contribution in maintaining our quality first, fast-paced recruitment approach
Exceed our talent team and hiring manager expectations through exceptional recruitment process management
Support and coordinate industry meet-up, candidate engagement and employer branding events Partner with agencies on any contract hiring across our locations
Bi-lingual fluency in French and English. Italian language capabilities are a bonus
A proven capability to build strong relationships with business leaders and educate the business on relevant European talent markets and hiring
Strong experience operating in the French Talent market space
You will have proven yourself as in-house recruiter working for a fast growth digital business
An in-depth experience of recruiting for high performing marketing and commercial teams, covering brand, comms, performance marketing, strategy and sales/BD
An expertise in using direct sourcing tools such as Boolean searches, mapping research and LinkedIn Recruiter, and you should bring a clear vision of what great talent looks like as well as how to find and attract it
Curious, pragmatic and intelligent, you will be focussed on achieving great results whilst ensuring that you consult and can effectively do so at a senior level
An eye for detail and a natural, data focussed mindset when hiring to budget
An influential communication style, and a highly collaborative approach
A genuine, authentic and empathetic personal style
Adaptability and willingness to support and deliver against several parallel running activities
