You will be part of our Europe Business Development and Marketing (MBD) team with specific responsibility for Marketing & Communications in France.

This is a senior role co-leading the country’s MBD function jointly with a colleague who primarily oversees Business Development. It reports to the France Managing Partner at the country level and the Europe Business Development and Marketing Director at the regional level.

The role is hands-on and requires someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and work with colleagues in France, Europe and the world on Marketing & Communications opportunities. It requires strong communications skills.

You will be in daily contact with the partners in Paris and with our different Dentons offices throughout the world.

The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager will work closely with the members of MBD Europe and his role encompasses the following main responsibilities:

Acting as an advisor and first point of contact for France management and the French partners Representing France Marketing and Communications in the Europe MBD Leadership Team Leading the Marketing & Communications team for France (at least 2 people) Further establishing the Dentons brand in the French market Ensuring consistent messaging in all our communications including written materials, online presences (dentons.com, social media) Building out the firm’s visibility on social media and working with the Partners on building their social media profiles Planning and delivering top class events for the firm Heading the PR function, handling media relations: ensuring a good level of communication with the French journalists and the maintenance of the press database Directories: supervision of the person who will handle Submissions for France. Strategy & analysis & solutions Internal communication: leading the communication of the Paris office and ensuring the Firms messages internally are understood and applied

The Senior BD Manager and the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager will jointly lead the department.

Profile:

Post-graduate education specialized in marketing / communications Experience in international law firms 7 years of experience in Coms and Marketing Knowledge of law is a plus

This position requires strong marketing practice and the ability to develop and maintain a professional network.

Technical level:

French / English: fluent Must: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Highly appreciated: Filesite, InterAction
