POSITION
The purpose of the position
Category MANAGER OVERHEADS & TRAVEL is to develop, communicate and execute the sourcing strategy at a global level and to challenge and improve the demand management, in order to optimize the Total Cost of Ownership for GROUPE ROCHER.
The role will take overall ownership over the category strategy and business plan and will act as commercial project leader on international cross functional projects within the category. The position is expected to be the main driver creating savings and spend insight on group level including transparency on processes and policies across markets. Additionally the position is expected to report and share findings, savings and transferring best practice experiences across GROUPE ROCHER.
The position shall ensure appropriate support and alignment from local business units and countries in the implementation and execution of the strategy and relevant projects. In all its activities the position is expected to act as a commercial expert working closely together with all of the relevant teams as well as any other relevant internal or external stakeholder.
The position is expected to deliver ‘Cost out’, ‘Value in’ ‘Cash in’ promoting the environment strategy of GROUPE ROCHER and requires close cooperation with business stakeholders,.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Category Strategy
Develop, formulate and deliver short, medium, long term sourcing strategy to ensure best TCO and security of supply, and promote Environment strategy for Groupe ROCHER.
Align strategy and tactics with key stakeholders
Map internal and external spend and create spend transparency
Describe and develop the organization needed to support implementation of strategies
Negotiation and supplier relationship skills
Lead negotiations on a group level or coordinate local negotiations backing local purchasing teams
Target lowest global costs and highest value for Groupe Rocher globally
Ensure Groupe Rocher is a preferred customer for key suppliers
Project management
Continuously analyse the supply market to identify new opportunities
Align with all relevant business functions in achieving strategic company targets
Secure sharing of information and support for the local organisations and market
Develop and participate in cross functional teams
Continuous improvement of value and quality
Identify and implement cost savings opportunities
Communicate, co-operate and involve relevant stakeholders in order to drive the overall strategy.
Support and actively promote the Group Procurement function
Engage and secure an open and direct dialogue with stakeholders

Experienced managing internal customer and external supplier relationships
Experienced defining global sourcing strategy for

High level international negotiation experience
Contract management skills
Cross-functional & cross culture change management experience
Experienced in development and implementation of sourcing strategies within a global organisation
International working experience / experience working in a global environment
Experience with sourcing systems and e-tool solutions
Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders in the Marketing, Commercial
Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain departments
Capable of analysing independently the market, suppliers and alternative possibilities
Min.
8 years relevant commercial experience within all aspects of strategic sourcing on regional or global level.
English is a must
Education: Post graduate degree
