Belgian company Derbigum specializes in energy-saving/producing roofing materials. Having started in 1932 as a family-held small/medium-sized business specializing in water-proofing roofs and flat surfaces, the company currently invests aggressively in innovative products for sustainable construction and energy management. The group has three production units: two in Belgium (Lot &Perwez) and one in the United States (Kansas City), and has 420 employees worldwide. More than two-thirds of its production is intended for export. Derbigum's consolidated group sales currently total € 111,2 million. The company's logo and motto Making Buildings Smart? clearly reflect Derbigum's mission: aiming to be the reference provider of sustainable solutions that safeguard buildings from the elements of nature.
