KME – THE COMPANY With its 15 productions plants in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, China and the USA, KME is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of copper and copper alloy products. KME offers innovative product solutions tailored to the respective individual requirements of our customers from the most various industrial sectors. KME is divided into three corporate divisions – the COPPER DIVISION (tube systems and rolled products), the SPECIAL DIVISION (special products) and the BRASS DIVISION (brass products) – and has a worldwide sales network. The structure of KME into its three divisions provides important prerequisites for concentrating on the different markets for the respective product groups. This enables customised solutions to be developed and exemplary engineering and services to be provided. The central headquarter of KME is in Osnabrück. The company, which is run by the IntekGroup Spa, has a European management. It is in the focus of many activities of our modern, high-technology world and is used in sophisticated processing methods, not only in its pure form, but also in many special alloys. Copper is just as robust in construction applications as it is delicate in the high-tech field. No other material oxidises on the roof and facade as expressively as copper. Copper is not only a classic material, it also finds use in innovative technical facilities and applications, for example in modern communication technology, in the automotive industry or the technically established casting process of the non-ferrous metals and steel industry.
