Maison Francis Kurkdjian is a luxury fragrance house co-founded by Francis Kurkdjian, a renowned perfumer with scores of successful creations to his name, and Marc Chaya, an ex EY Partner. Together, they fulfilled their desire for a sensual, generous and multi-facetted landscape of free expression, creating a new emblem of French know-how and lifestyle. Maison Francis Kurkdjian started in September 2009 with a flagship store in Paris, two counters at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills and Chicago as well as a counter in New York at Bergdorf Goodman. Under Kurkdjian's creative directions and Chaya's leadership as CEO, It has rapidly and profitably developed into a key player in the luxury high-end fragrance market with presence in more than 500 ultra-selective retail locations in 42 countries, in addition to 9 mono-brand stores in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. In North America, it has established as an anchor beauty brand at Neiman Marcus with presence in all 42 stores and has a growing presence at Saks Fith Avenue with over 15 counters in the US and Canada. On March 20th, 2017, Kurkdjian and Chaya announced the sale of a majority stake in Maison Francis Kurkdjian to LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world's leading luxury goods group. They both remain shareholders and involved in the operational management of the fragrance house over the long run.
